How many of us grew up on Judy Blume books? I know I did. One of my all-time favorite books as a child was Blume’s Just As Long As We’re Together. Let’s take a trip down memory lane together and revisit Blume’s body of work. We are pretty laid-back over here at QGR. To participate all you need to do is read one book. Hopefully, you write a review and share the link with us.
The particulars:
The When: January 12, 2012 through March 20, 2012 (because we like short seasonal challenges.)
The Fun: Read any books written by Judy Blume, whether they be her YA or adult books. Read at least one but don’t let that stop you. 😉
The Extras: We will be hosting a readalong of Forever. That might be the one book many of us haven’t read. (This could also count as your one Blume book.)

I haven’t read any of the YA Judy Blume books, but have read some adult ones. And I haven’t read Forever. It looks very tempting….but I shouldn’t sign up for another challenge!

Ooooo!! Okay: IN. It will depend which of the YA ones my mom still has at her house, most likely. Thanks for giving us until March, or I wouldn’t have taken the challenge! I may or may not be a procrastinator.

You are too hilarious. A one-book requirement for the challenge? EVERYONE should be participating. I haven’t read Judy Blume in forever. I don’t even own any of her books. Now you have me thinking of which one I could read.

Count me IN. I didn’t grow up reading Judy Blume but I helped my daughters grow up with her. I’m going to suggest they pick their favorite and read it with me. I did reread a couple last year for Banned Books Week and still love them. Oooo, it just occurred to me that my granddaughter might be persuaded to read along too. She’s 13 and definitely old enough to dip her toes into some good Blume.
Yay!!! Also, can I just say that I think it is SO COOL you and your granddaughter read together?
Love Blume and Hello God, but I swore off challengesthis year. GREAT challenge, though. Maybe I’ll change my mind 🙂
