Hello, read-a-thoners!! You guys are doing great!! Only a couple more hours to go!
For this mini-challenge, all you need to do is share a book trailer with us on your blog. It can be for your favorite book or a trailer that piques your interest about a book you haven’t read yet. We’ll give our eyes a rest from the page, while getting excited about more books to pile on that TBR list for next time, yes?
Leave a link in the comments to your post. This challenge starts at 2am PST and will end at 5am PST. One winner will be chosen for a ten dollar Amazon gift card.
I’ll start by sharing with you a book trailer for a book I recently read and loved. The trailer is awesome. It so perfectly captures the mood of the book. I kinda can’t stop watching it. . .
Update: Using Random.org we have a winner-SarahEm!!
I know you said to link to our blog but I don’t know how to do that, so I am posting my favorite book trailer here. You don’t have to enter me into the competition. Anyway, this is the book trailer for the book Wither by Lauren DeStefano. This trailer is actually what made me go out and buy the book. I haven’t read it yet but I look forward to starting it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJD_C0eh_K8

Fire by Kristen Cashore. A fantastic book I’ve read over 10 times now. It is the Prequal to Graceling.
Just dropping off a cheer! *\o/*
I posted mine here: http://wordsandfood.wordpress.com/2011/04/09/readathon-eng/
not sure if you wanted me to comment here though xD
I have read so much less than you. cant believe how fast you read!
I’m not always a huge book trailer fan, but I looked up the one for my current read at your urging and found it intriguing! I’ve posted it in my readathon updates post, here:

This is a book trailer that I love, even though I’m not interested in reading the book. It’s all the bad reviews for the book the author could find. So funny!
Here’s mine: http://thetruebookaddict.blogspot.com/2011/04/24-hour-read-thon-book-trailer-mini.html
Thanks for the fun!

I don’t love the look of the CG at the beginning, but I do like the book and the simple narration by the actual author.
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_UUVwTaemk
I’m happy to have this opportunity to share a trailer for a fantastic and fascinating book, The Stumpwork Robe. I’m having difficulty posting to my WordPress blog at the moment but I’m double-blogging, so you can see it posted at

Thanks so much.

Great challenge, why hasn’t anyone posted anything yet? Am I in the wrong place? Anyway, the link to the post is: http://whiteinkdrops.wordpress.com/read-a-thon/
The book I’ve chosen is Under the Dome, by Stephen King.
I immediately signed into my library account and ordered that Sarah Addison Allen book. So I made a point of posting the first trailer that made me do it again. Well head to the library catalog but alas, no joy. Can’t believe this one is not in our system. http://joystory.blogspot.com/2011/04/my-brain-on-books-viii.html
I wasn’t able to post the video on my blog (I’m not sure why it isn’t working) but I posted the link to the video on youtube. Hope that’s good!
This one is easy. I love this book trailer and this book:
“The Stumpwork Robe”, by Prue Batten
See it on my blog at: http://www.corinnemwestphal.com/2011/04/10/book-trailer-mini-challenge/
Yay, I won! Thanks for the mini-challenge. It was a fun and much needed reprieve from reading. 😀
Best,
Sarah
Thanks to everyone who played! I so enjoyed watching all of the trailers and have added some new titles to my TBR list in the process. 🙂
